Very nice framing and looking forward to learning more about the cohort
Question about self scoring: how accurate/inaccurate can that scoring be and is this something to be done as a "monthly check in"?
Asking because I tried doing this score based self evaluation a few years ago. I tried making it as granular as possible for the scoring, but I still felt it was challenging to accurately say if these scores helped me/others see if performance was going in the right direction
The key to self-scoring is to use different interrogation methods and triangulate the results. The reason why the classical methodologies may feel as relatively low accuracy is because they typically only use one mode, and aren't constructed “science-first”. This is not the way to do it if we are after accuracy.
The instrument will take a snapshot at a point in time, and will give you a path to follow for the subsequent 3 months. That's enough time to implement changes in your behavior, at which point you may detect a significant move in your scoring.
can't wait. nice piece as usual. note: There seems to be a broken figure on the page.
Thank you sir! What figure is broken?
